Log of OOC Meeting 9/21/13

Kinaed muses, "Today's agenda is: - Staff Updates - Staff Topics - Player Heartbeat - Player Topics Does anyone have anything they want to add to the agenda and make sure is spoken about?" Kinaed says, "Okay, I've got GL Survey results added and Piety." Kinaed muses, "Anything else?" Kinaed says, "O...

Re: TI Newsletter

Found it, thanks! Of course, I kept looking for The Inquisition: Legacy and was finding nothing... why do I always complicate things?

Re: TI Newsletter

Is this still in the works? The link would not work for me.

Also, does TI have a Facebook, Twitter, etc.? If so, where can I find that information?

Thanks kindly.

Re: Dual Guilding

I frankly feel that it should be completely up to the guildleaders as to how they handle things, and I'm not really sure how I feel about some of the talk in here. I see what I take as a lot of people advocating that this way or that way, usually their way, is best, and I'm not really sure how I fe...

Re: Covert Guild Turnover Policy

I'm not sure I see this as either necessary or preferable, just yet...

Are there scenarios in which such an OOC truce or "wipe" might be abused?

Re: Dual Guilding

What is "easy" then? A command that pumps out an OOC readout? Why does it need to be easy? Why shouldn't it involve a little effort? Ways to potentially track activity for non-coverts: Set aside a monthly benchmark goal or other criteria for guild members aim for Require a monthly or bimonthly progr...

Re: Dual Guilding

What if seeking a guild beyond the first cost something XP-wise or something unless you're covert? This might stop 'hobbists' from going for it. A higher level of consistent activity, maybe? Otherwise, I dunno. I'm of the opinion that what's really needed are GLs who prune out the folks who either ...

Re: Suggestion for Weapon Slots

Right. Trying to use an unarmed attack with a weapon sheathed on that side (whether you attack or dual attack) will result in the code telling you to draw your weapon, forcing you to remove the sheathed weapon before you can perform the unarmed attack. I'll go ahead and bug board the issue. Thanks, ...

Suggestion for Weapon Slots

I'd like to make the following suggestion: Problem: Holding anything in your hand is impossible if you are wearing two weapons. It's aggravating and inconvenient that I can't hold a courier pigeon simply because I have a sword sheathed at my hip, or that I can't hold a crafting needle, or any other ...

Re: Our Main Flaw

The more you know. There it is, listed under help movement move. And I was just informed about the range command, too! Thanks for the tips, Takta. I think I'm going to make a point to try to be more aware of my character's position when entering rooms from now on, even for seemingly innocuous RP.
