Re: Catering to a Toxic Portion of the Playerbase

Firstly, I want to just say I am disgusted with the current state of affairs on TI, though not on the staff side but the players side. Mind you, I haven't been playing for over 6 weeks now, and I just logged back in on thursday, so I don't have a horse running in this case that brought this whole th...

Re: "Batman Theory," or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the RP

I seriously despise the villain culture that's developed here. That's not an insult to anyone in particular, but more of an observation. There has always been this idea that being a villain automatically needs to come with benefits, or else nobody is going to do it, and I just don't understand that...

Re: The End of the Regency

Having had most of my concerns answered or at least acknowledged, I shall hold off on saying anything else until this change has a chance to be implemented. However there is one other minor thing I would like to add to what Chronodbu said, in regards to the outside of lithmore policy. Nor can you te...

Re: The End of the Regency

Trying to answer some questions: - Is the City Council actually a guild... we haven't decided. We just decided it was a group of people comprising a certain demographics The whole rolling Court into it was because we expected Court to feel ownership over the City Council's agenda and because our pl...

Re: The End of the Regency

Thirdly: What is the theme reason for this sudden change? Much like when the order and Knights Merged, yet again, one of my big questions for staff was what is the IC Reason for this? I don't like big changes like this if they can't be supported by theme. On top of that, what is going to happen to ...

Re: The End of the Regency

Alright, Having read through all the comments thus far, minus Last_Dragon's huge one, I feel confident in my ability raise concerns/views of this. So Firstly, Similar to what leech said, what can the city metric system bring to the playing field that isn't already something that has been done? On to...

Re: [Combat] Attacks of Opportunity

To wit: when I was voicing a bit of my frustration to a Staff member about feeling entirely useless at being unable to close to a workable distance as a sword user (which has a good range!) vs a pole-arm user, I was told "Well polearms generally suck in a real fight anyways." ... which ALSO shouldn...

Re: [Combat] Attacks of Opportunity

What about having attacks work in a reasonable range, but there being damage reduction if it's out of range?

Re: [Combat] Attacks of Opportunity

I'm not sure what can truly be added to the discussion besides 'Cat and Mouse combat generally sucks for the one at the disadvantage'. I mean it seems charge hasn't really fixed that, though I can't really base that on person experience as I haven't had to use charge yet.

Re: Rare and Limited Edition Items

I stand by my prior statement. Artifacts should only be created by staff, and when staff feel appropriate, and that such 'Stories' as you describe do not fit into the theme of the game. But I'm just one person.
