Confession is the only one I can think of where that's not the case.
And confession is the majority of my RP. Confession, or people coming for personal guidance, or many other things. Things that it would not be thematic nor proper to have a full room of people present for.

Thus, my response.

Re: Inactive in RP

I guess my other question is if it's a private scene then why does the RPXP penalty matter. Slow private RP is, by design, already very low RPXP gain, so the only part of this experience I understand as a massive negative is getting a nag prompt (that I do agree should probably be toggleable like a...

Re: Inactive in RP

Greetings, I've had a few of our newer players complain (and have recently seen in a review) comments about players who are actively in RP scenes being slow or idling out on one another. Culturally, it's impacting whether people want to play TI because they can log in and start RPing with someone w...

Re: Inactive in RP

We do understand that the change is 5 minutes since the last pose received, right? If you're in a crowded room you actually get much longer than 5 minutes to pose as the room is going on around you. But it isn't a change just for busy/public rooms. It's a change for those smaller 2 people or 3 peop...

Re: In what circumstances should you deny a PC (cyan or otherwise) entry into a guild?

I apologise, it wasn't my original intent to lambast. But it's a strange cultural thing to me, that skills can be locked behind guilds and guilds be so important for being able to improve mechanically, and that there isn't policy about how we should deny sponsorship or deny guild membership that I ...

Re: Inactive in RP

Frustration on this entire thread is understandable. What I fail to understand is why we think that further punishing those who pose slower (they already get less RPXP by design) with NO RPXP if it takes longer than five minutes, AND giving them a "naughty you" message about it, will solve the probl...

Re: In what circumstances should you deny a PC (cyan or otherwise) entry into a guild?

Let me offer the flip side here: Keep in mind that as a GL you should remember that every member you add to your guild also increases your workload. These are people who are going to need to be engaged with scenes and potentially have their promotion tracked and so on and so forth depending on your...

Also @Philly, (Portion removed by Staff for forum policy violation) (Portion removed by Staff for forum policy violation) I apologize if you feel personally attacked. Forgive me, but I do have a problem with you attacking Philly with, "You have clearly decided to ignore them.". She doesn't talk OOC...

Re: Jail Channel

I think that was me, @Kitty. The 'days not hours' thing. I wasn't bringing up RP avoidance like it did happen, I brought it up because a friend told me it seemed like there was RP avoidance and I wanted to ask what exactly RP avoidance would mean. It became a much bigger deal than it should have be...

Re: Jail Channel

ok, so the channel is strictly for requesting roleplay and not for OOC banter which should go to the OOC channel... easy enough. but players are actually using it for exactly that, asking for roleplay, with periodic reminders, and being told they are nagging, or asking too frequently. No. If they w...
