Re: Proposal - Mage Sanctuary
I'm not really understanding how xblocks are a problem. The idea that mages will just sit behind them eternally is certainly possible... and it's also possible for their targets and the knights and the order to just sit behind their own xblocks, and they're allowed to have them. Nothing will get do...

Re: Proposal - Mage Sanctuary
So further the General Board note, I'd like to propose the construction of a small mage sanctuary. The idea would be that it's accessible only through magic (I can explain the details by PM of that to anyone interested), but unlike the Manus Tower of old, it would not be under the control of any sp...

Re: How to successfully play a noble.
I'll address a few things, as there have been miscommunications or confusions about them with nobles in the past. Which, a noble has the right to push anything they want, but these were misinterpretations of the helpfiles: 1) in help noble rights, it says you can enter any properties ON YOUR OWN LAN...

Re: Inactive in RP
One thing I did notice is it also penalizes fast emoters if they were waiting for someone to pose who drops out. And others might be encouraged wait for others to break the silence first so their own emote doesn't count for nothing. I noticed this, too. That people seem to wait until someone takes ...

Re: Inactive in RP
Hey Kitty, I wasn't advocating for the behaviour, the chatter wasn't mine. It was an accident on my part that I missed poses and clarification questions because I was scrolled up to read the last poses. I was trying to explain why I felt nervous. Please don't yell at me :( I... was not yelling at y...

Re: Inactive in RP
I guess what I'm concerned about is I have a fear that if I need to get longer to pose than 5 mins to do something justice, or because my joints have swollen up, that I'll start getting flack for that. I don't know if it is because of this change or just bad luck, but I've had people ask me if I'm ...

Re: Latency clarification
I agree that mages should have some method to detect a Latent. If it was a spell, then it would have to be a universal one that any element could use. I kind of don't want it to be a spell though. Maybe just a chance when looking at an individual that they get a flavor message like '<element of lat...

Re: OOC Support Thread - You're Awesome and Here's Why
Well, since I started it again, I will post. Lans, as previously stated nearly a year ago, you are my favorite person. That has not changed. Briar, you devil. You are amazeballs, too. I love the way your brain works. Phyllis, I don't get to interact with you often enough. Honestly. You are great. Es...

Re: Inactive in RP
I will state ONE thing - it doesn't change my mind that this change isn't ok. Just like I would be against a change that said, "Anyone whose pose takes less than 5 minutes gets no RPXP reward," or, "Anyone whose pose is less than 10 lines gets no RPXP award." For me, "Anyone whose pose takes longer ...

Re: OOC Support Thread - You're Awesome and Here's Why
BUMP! I was the last one to post here. There've been a lot of negative, nasty, prickly feelings surrounding these forums lately. WITHOUT revealing IC info (more appropriate for a recommend), call out some of your favorites here so people can start getting some warm fuzzies again. Because, by golly, ...
