Re: Civetta's post in 06/13/2020 / Header Plot Experiences And Issues

Why bang your heads against this brick wall. Nothing will change as staff have made it clear here and elsewhere that they simply won't change, and don't see a need for change. Do you need a better example than Kinaed's dismissiveness here? I'm sure whatever prewritten climax they have for the plot ...

Re: Civetta's post in 06/13/2020 / Header Plot Experiences And Issues

intended or not, the wording does come across as deprecating to Staff,. Even Kinaed herself has said it. Please remember guys, Staff is working to do their jobs for us. They made this game, that we all play and enjoy, what it is, and they are doing something , they are trying, even if there are bum...

Re: Civetta's post in 06/13/2020 / Header Plot Experiences And Issues

As someone who has been adjacent to a lot of "plot-important" characters but has never really interfaced with the plot, I would like to state that I have been playing the game for three months and I have never felt any incentive whatsoever to interact with the overarching plot, with any of the game ...

The whole point of this suggestion is to make Guild-specific shops less of a losing proposition.

When was the last time a woodworking store stocked instruments? Or a blacksmith swords?

"I stocked swords," spoke the ashes.

Re: A toggle to disallow drunkenness decay

Regardless of specifics, I just think allowing the player to be able to voluntarily turn off the rate at which they sober (something which will have a negative effect on them and only them) for the purposes of the RP they're in is a fun RP tool that supports people Getting Krunk when it makes no sen...

A toggle to disallow drunkenness decay

Sometimes you have high CON and you want to be drunk. Sometimes the posts are taking too long and it's unreasonable for you to drink an entire cask of vodka in one night without falling unconscious. It'd be nice to be able to turn off drunkenness decay temporarily. A lot of times the OOC timer for m...

Re: Timers Display OOC Time

I think this should be the case for just about anything which shows IC time, really; we can try to remember an IC/OOC ratio all we want, but sometimes it can cause issues in passing.

RIP Percy; Thanks for RPing with me everyone!

Hello! I was Percivale's player, and I wanted to thank everyone I have roleplayed with so far on The Inquisition! My time has been wonderful and I've been happily playing the game like a full time job. Reading the recommendations that people have written for Percy has been really heartwarming. There...

Re: Extended Lacing

Poisoning drugs sounds very much in-theme and within the realm of reason. I would argue, even, that it would be a lot harder to detect this kind of thing compared to drugging food and drink unless one had pretty high familiarity with the substances. However, I think it would need to be a bit more in...

Re: Make Knowledge Nodes Better

Yeah, I generally agree. Knowledge nodes are really, really annoying once you have the rituals. With all the disincentive to do risky things as a mage (one mistake can end your character), it would be nice if this in particular didn't gradually become something closer and closer to a complete waste ...
