Re: See door durability and/or lock difficulty
It would also be great if we could get doors that are lockable but see-through, like actual gates.

See door durability and/or lock difficulty
Could we get some kind of assessment of a door's durability upon looking at it? E.g. weak, standard, or hard. And maybe for covert folks, a way for them to gauge how difficult a lock might be, if they don't already have that ability. I am really enjoying all the useful information that's been added ...

Re: Jail Automation Requirements
Do we not have a helpfile listing other possible thematic punishments, and if not, can we get one? I think it could go a long way for the entire pbase to know what's thematically possible. E.g... * Stocks - Used to punish lesser crimes, such as X. The criminal is placed in the stocks at X. It is com...

Re: Arrest/Restrain
Dexterity, I'd imagine, and possibly distance from the target? I don't fully recall, so maybe someone with more recent knowledge can comment.

Re: Feedback on Noble Projects
Yes! My bad. The rest of that snippet, which I mistakenly didn't think was relevant enough to post, covered the fact that there will be more ways to gain prestige in the future. No idea what those will be, but I figure it's good to know the rate at which it is earned. I would have thought it based o...

Re: Feedback on Noble Projects
FYI for those wondering: 11:13:26.621 (visnet) Player X: How long does it take to increase prestige? 11:14:26.701 (visnet) Staff Niamh: One rank per 5 prestige points, 1 prestige point per successful project, minus -1 prestige per OOC week for natural decay. Looks like prestige points are granted at...

Re: Feedback on Noble Projects
There's no good IC reason two nobles, competing for the same resources (influence), shouldn't be able to affect a metric at the same time if they both manage to succeed. Too many cooks spoil the broth. If both are trying to do the same thing, without working together, they might end up working agai...

Re: Feedback on Noble Projects
Another thought- could only one project affect a single metric at a time? I could see how the system as it is now could encourage many weak, easy to pass projects, each not really providing much, but stacking together, and providing each submitter prestige. A-winner-takes-all system might encourage...

Re: Feedback on Noble Projects
It's 200 silver per 1 point of IP, up to a max of 5. Which means 1000 silver to purchase 5 IP. That's a hefty cost even for a noble.

Messages to 'all' = town crier
It's always been a bit awkward, trying to work messengers into RP, not knowing anything about them until you "message receive," but here's a simple idea: When you select 'all' as the target for your messenger, instead of the messenger appearing to the pbase as "A messenger waits for the signal to ap...
