Re: [Poll] Seeking Discussion

The same basic systems have been in place since like the first TI. I know it's been the same basic idea in most of the iterations I've played over the years. Why is this just coming up now? And how feasible is changing the entire system, or even tweaking it, from a coder/builder point of view? Yes, ...

Re: Theme resources: Images and concept art

Not going to lie: I always pretend that I'm playing Elder Scrolls, particularly Skyrim.

Newbies Seeking Guilds

I'd really like to see a sticky post on the announce board about newbies seeking guilds, encouraging them to write letters and send messengers, even reach out in tells or something to arrange scenes, to public members of the various guilds they're seeking. Preferably, there would even be something n...

Re: Ahalin and why it's killing our pbase.

Right now: my chars has been stuck in Ahalin for 2 OOC weeks almost. There are two separate entities that have to sentence my character. One decided on its punishment on day 3, yet I am still in complete limbo, and no sentence has been carried out at all, so I'm going to have to sit here and coordin...

Re: Confessions

The only problem I really see with this is that confessions are theoretically supposed to be sealed, so I don't know how this sort of dynamic would fit with theme. I also know that, from a paperwork point of view, I personally don't need yet another reason to hate confession or writing cnotes, and h...

Re: [Poll] How interesting is the grid (city zones, etc) for

I'm always going to shy away from changes, but I wouldn't object to more sewer stuff.

On the other hand, I love the grid just like it is. Not too big, not too small.

Re: [Poll] Plots

Love the plots. Have a little trouble with the plot update thing, but I've managed to stumble through it.

Seriously, cannot say how much I love the plots.

Re: Playing A Bad Guy is Pointless Now

Takta pointed out that the sewer system should be accessible, and that's right on the money. I couldn't research the ones that I've looked at before, but I was able to go to a final spot on a public street that I'd left out, and was able to find the sewer grate with a search. The XP bonus for Orderi...

Playing A Bad Guy is Pointless Now

I abjectly refuse to play a "bad guy" anymore. And I'll lay out my reasons: 1. The thief guild owes taxes that are sky high the last I heard, but they don't get any income from any of the shady stuff that goes on in the city as far as I'm are of. If I'm mistaken, then I'm glad, but they should get a...

Re: Visible Seeker Signs?

I don't know how I feel about that. I mean, there are some guilds where it makes sense like with the gaily tied ribbons for Troubadours (especially on a male, you know?). There others, though, where I question if the general public would actually know the significance enough to actually ICly notice ...
