Re: [Poll] City Metric, City Report, City Forecast, and Seneschal

I tested the guild bug right with reset yesterday and it seems to be working correctly now. Only the actual GLs (in guildleaders command) use guild vote, others will use their noble vote as applicable. Also, the system does not necessarily encourage everyone to be on the same page, since multiple i...

Re: On the Power of mattack

The way I'm reading this, and I apologize if it just comes off to me in ways unintended, it just seems like all the knights are disgruntled because mages have not been easy wins lately, and that people are eager to see mattack damage lessened, mattack's any range and its armor immunity possibly bei...

Updated my post as you were writing yours! I am about 90% sure Margaux reported it the other night.

Re: [Poll] City Metric, City Report, City Forecast, and Seneschal

As I understand it nobles are supposed to get a vote each, and GLs are supposed to get a vote each. If a noble is also a GL, they should have one vote, not two. Right now, though, Court members who are also nobles don't get to vote at all. Whatever their vote is is overridden by the Court GL (me or ...

Re: [Poll] Give Us Grit

Also, pvents are a great way to inject theme, grit and a variety of things. They could use an update and this might be a good avenue. If there is a way to target them based on class that might be good too. A freeman might get a: today a gentry spat at you for being in their way -or- a noble might g...

Re: Theme Enforcement - the gentle approach

I want to thank everyone who spoke up after the prodding. I appreciate the comments. I see there's some stuff about making the backdrop of the game grittier - I'll ask people to focus on that in another thread, which I'll kick off. Here are some examples that I'd love to get specific opinions on: -...

Re: How to GL

- Activity! Handle whatever you can in person to keep your activity up, mail only when you can't field it in person. - Delegation! Delegate anything and everything you reasonably can to your guildmembers, especially those you've given some authority. It's great to have a special title within your gu...

Re: [Poll] Give Us Grit

I voted "Depends." Idea list: - GLs and quiz on theme: Thoroughly behind this for apped-in GLs. I think for characters who become GLs through play there should be considerable leeway where it comes to having holes in their IC knowledge -- they could have been (and often are) thrust into it simply be...

Re: Separating plant/tend/harvest from Herbalism

I'm pretty content with keeping Herbalism and plant cultivation linked. I would, however, still rally for Herbalism not being a guild skill.

Re: Alternative approach to noble inactivity

Should probably be an addenda to address wrapped up characters too -- the ones PCs have requested a wrap up for and gotten one.
