Re: Yeastsmithing

ahhh it sounds like i might not be the only one? if it's still under consideration i still find myself avoiding yeast recipes because of how long it takes to get to the yeast store from the hillman village. i'm not sure what it is, maybe how casual most of cooking is (not wanting to have to go all t...

Re: Languages, Accents, and Dialects

The average Vandagan probably won't have much of an accent when speaking Lithmorran, though she might sound unintentionally harsh or curt as a combination of the harder sounds they are used to and the fact that it's significantly colder than even Lithmore - gotta save your breath and be succinct! I...

Re: Enabling Conflict

(stardew friend!) It sounds like both sides might have the same sort of perception of helplessness! I wonder what we could do about it? I haven't so much seen the stigma of throwing conflict back at antagonists; I've seen mages get a hard time for not allowing a room full of battle badasses a full r...

Re: Enabling Conflict

I think the whole "you need to be TOUGH if you want to play with US" mentality is (unfortunately) a pretty common thing in MUDs - TI's really good about it, though, and that's part of why I like it here. But also maybe since we just got a new recommend qualifier added - Enabling conflicts to continue - maybe we can discuss some fun and not sucky ways to keep antagonism alive! I'm going to post my own opinions ...

Yeastsmithing

Would it be reasonable to have a cooking or brewing recipe for a handful of yeast? Like, if you have potatoes, honey/maple/sugar, and a kettle, you could get a yeast mash object that would decay to usable yeast? It seems like it'd be a substantial mv/time investment to get it for free if you're will...

the inquisition tarot (spoilers?)

i was sort of joking about making fake tarot cards for TI characters, except, then i did it anyway. they're fun, i do them to warm up before i do my day job drawing and then colour them later on. when your dumb dad has a navy (haizea): http://i.imgur.com/PDHvvxA.jpg upright: duty, sacrifice, uncompr...
