Re: Searching a Room

Can we tone it back a little? It seems like a lot of these threads lately always end up in some sort of heated exchange for some reason, and it's super discouraging for people looking to participate. I agree that 7 days is too long. I think it should be maybe 3 days at least, or at least with a CNOT...

Re: Alt convo, from OOC meeting 10/21/2017

I'd be very much in favor of this. Sometimes one player can have a lot of alts that cross over all facets of RP, and it becomes really difficult to separate OOC knowledge when it's spread across so many characters like that. I think the drawbacks to a single character system would be player fatigue ...

Re: Bring back top 10 Rp... with a twist!

I don't mind the new system. In fact, I actually prefer it, because I don't like people knowing how much I RP, and the list wasn't really necessary at all, kind of like the last names on the WHO list. Maybe if there was some way to opt out of a player's name being shown so that only those who would ...

Re: Thinking about thinking. (Help!)

Thinking is great! I basically do what Kinaed and Voxumo do. It's an easy way to define your character's narrative. We know what everyone else sees when they emote, but what does your guy/gal ACTUALLY think about this pompous noble standing in front of them? Stuff like that. I treat thinking like ta...

Re: The future of whoinvis

I'd like it removed altogether, since I feel like it isn't used for what it seemed to be intended for, and I don't think that the reasons people are using it now for justify its existence. I can understand if others don't agree though.

Re: The future of whoinvis

As someone who has hid on WHOINVIS as a villain in the past, I am in favor of it being nerfed. Reading over the OOC Meeting log, there seems to be a mentality where people don't like that a wanted person must always be on the run. That's part of the risk of being a villain though. You do bad things,...

Re: Off-topc from assets discussion Puciek and Vouxumuo

As an on-and-off player, the game to me seems a bit more stagnant in terms of an active living world. I understand the need for players to drive RP, but it sort of feels like nothing ever changes outside of player-run plots and stories, besides the occasional IC Event board note. Also, I had no idea...

With all of that said, I feel like I should level and point out that I'm pretty strongly against the current Assets system, and I find it confusing, infuriating, and obtuse, so maybe I'm simply overthinking this bit, at this point.

Re: Combat Issues & Bugs

Why does the auto-arrest timer even need to exist? This right here. I remember once when an auto-arrest was made against me because I couldn't figure out the command to turn off the attack failsafe in time. I was pretty much new to the revamped restrain system, so I had to ask a staffer to interven...
