Re: Interactive Haggle System

Still you ignore the point that this would take away from rp. There would be no reason to rp with merchants in regards to their trade if this system was in place. For example, if you knew a merchant was not allowing the haggle skill in their shop than you can reasonably assume they would not be ope...

Re: Interactive Haggle System

To my knowledge, you can't haggle for an item if you don't have the silver to cover the potential full cost. In the game, no. Realistically? It's probably the most common reason to haggle. If you're at the flea market with $35, and see something you want marked for $40, there's a good chance you ca...

Interactive Haggle System

I had a thought on how to improve the haggle system, making it a little more flexible and fair. It would become its own command: syntax: haggle (n*)[keyword/item number] [desired price] In the case of buying multiples, [desired price] would be the total for all items. On a successful role, the item(...

Re: Do our emote standards make TI less accessible?

Instead of a minimum word count per emote, what about changing it to word count per tick?

I think that could add a lot of flexibility.

Re: Game Snares

Ah, that's something that I brought up in an OOC meeting once, but forgot to post about here. To copy/paste my ideas from that: Mundane snares/traps would be neat to have, since the mages got something like that. Some example would be caltrops that do a little damage, a snare that could possibly tra...

Re: [Poll] What Do You Think About TI's Wounds System

I've got a few complaints/suggestions about wounds. 1. I may be wrong about this (never had a chance to test it), but when you take any like damage to a wounded body part, it seems to completely reset all healing it's had. So say you have a (numbers made up) 140hp wound, reduced to 120hp after treat...

Log of OOC Meeting for 10/8/2016

Temi states, " A lright. Let's go ahead and get started. Do we have a volunteer to scribe? You just need to log the meeting and post it up on the forums for those who couldn't make it . " Zabris appears in a swirling mist. [OOC] Taunya states, " I can do it . Temi declaims, " T hanks Taunya ! " Aza...

I'd like to second removing pre-reqs. Requiring 55 int for herbalism impacts my idea of rolling a somewhat... simple farm girl.

Re: [Poll] City Metric, City Report, City Forecast, and Seneschal

I can't really make much use of it in my player's position. I think one free vote for the masses per OOC month would be nice to spice things up and get more people invested with it.

Re: [Poll] Give Us Grit

I think the theme itself is gritty enough as-is.
More gritty plots and player actions would be welcome of course.
