Autoassigning keys
I am exasperated with this OOC key system whereby I have to assign keys to someone before they can use them. I have all kinds of other gripes with this system, but I'll stick with the immediate concern: which is that I can't friggin' remember to assign a key half of the time. Would it be possible to...

Re: Log of OOC Meeting 2017-11-04
As a follow-up to the question raised about running from a scene/pursuers: While it is policy that the act of leaving is itself the RP (one needn't emote or pose before leaving the room), I do believe in acting reasonably and realistically according to the scene at hand -- and in being mindful of on...

Resources System Improvements
While outside of the resource POLCA, it's possible to use resource list [category] to view categories and their contents. Within the POLCA, however, the resource command is tied to choosing the resource (by number, which isn't immediately obvious), and the only way to view resources and categories i...

Re: City Lore
I like the idea of dates and occasions on OOC objects when it's appropriate. I think staff do add them from time to time. Otherwise, it's an interesting idea, attaching lore to objects themselves... hadn't thought of that before! Wonder if it'd be difficult to code... I recommend that event-throwers...

Re: OOC Support Thread - You're Awesome and Here's Why
First, a quick shout out to Rothgar and Empena for playing some of the most awkward elephants in the room that I have ever had the squeamish pleasure of reading about. The constant use of body language, non-Lithmorran languages, and muttered/whispered language to communicate adds all the more intrig...

Re: Teaching Spam
Right, well... I would rather have a broken teaching thread provide an obvious output, such as, "So-and-so stops teaching." than to have to make a guess based on whether or not I'm being spammed in that moment. Something in the "affects" part of the prompt would be great, though. I believe teaching ...

No one findable matches the name 'X'.
No one findable matches the name 'X'. I tried to send a message to someone last night who happened to be on the wholist, and I received the above output and was unable to send my message. I'm wondering if, considering the changes to messaging (being able to message offline and whoinvis players), th...

Teaching Spam
I taught a skill using the TEACH command for the first time in a long time, last night (mercantilism, 74 ranks), and I noticed that I was being spammed with teaching messages about once per minute. Not sure if the messaging rate is correlated to one's skill, but I was seeing about 4-5 teaching messa...

Re: Noble Wealth
Thematically, I think the Justiciar kinda has to obey, even if he/she doesn't like it, but as far as recourse should they refuse... I honestly don't know. I though the Seneschal's role was more about "guiding" the city via the Council, not enforcing the nobility's wishes, but there was talk of stren...

Re: Noble Wealth
Well, I wouldn't completely refuse to pay a Merchant for their hard work unless you want to risk being blacklisted and starting a class war (could be fun?), but offering to talk up the Merchant's amazing wares to other nobles/wealthy notables in exchange for better prices is certainly something one ...
