Re: Replacing Aides with Volunteers?

Ah! I was under the impression that we wanted to avoid a lot of what existed before, so I was concentrating only on the RP part. If other old commands are options too, I'm putting another think on this. :)

Yes, if not volunteer, maybe Helper? Guide?

Replacing Aides with Volunteers?

To help with new player retention and new character integration, let players volunteer their in-game time actively seeking out cyans. Volunteers will have a Staff-set flag that lets them toggle on and off duty. While on duty, they are expected to make cyans their top priority. To help with this, vol...

Re: City Lore Updates Feedback

When I initially posted this suggestion, it was assuming self-lore submissions would potentially earn QP and/or rec level boosts like the room lore will provide. If that's not necessarily enough for this to be widespread, perhaps having a certain number, or a certain level of them in the database wi...

City Lore Updates Feedback

I would like to suggest an addition to the planned City Lore updates! Add SELF as an option and let players submit lore gossip about themselves. Allow other characters to learn about them through the grapevine. Since Staff oversees submission, information won't be abused, but players can add interes...

Re: Purchase height

It's a good point about how the height descriptors are misleading. I've been under the impression someone was a lot taller or shorter only to realize they were within a hand of me. I should also note that I'm the sort of player who adjusts my character's height if they're wearing heeled shoes. Does ...

New Chandlery Recipe: Cosmetics Palette

To encourage more use of cosmetics and add variety without requiring a lot of new recipes, I propose adding a single new recipe to the chandlery skill to encompass cosmetics applied in a theme. An unremarkable person is here. His/her cosmetics are tastefully applied. Name : (xxxx) Cosmetics Palette ...

Re: Lithmorran Home Security

Noisemakers. Traps that rpyell (or whatever) loud sounds into adjoining rooms to alert people that uninvited guests are sneaking about.

Caltrops. Damage applied to feet to deter criminals from going further inside as well as impeding their escapes.

Meditation/Fast Healing update?

So after attempting to meditate instead of checking my medicine ranks a couple of times, I looked closer at the help meditate help file. Given the way wound healing is seen to now, could meditate also help hasten MV regen? You can sleep, eat and drink already to get them back, but I think giving a b...

I like this idea too! Though why not both powers?

Re: Bins - A way to organise shop stock

I like the idea!
The item shifting is more useful as a whole, since you can use it for organizing rooms where you RP too. Display dividers are fun but not a necessary part of shopkeeping, as well, so tying organization to them enforces a trend that may or may not change in the future.
