Re: RP Philosophy and You
Personally, I'd very much like a system of code=RP. However, there are things that happen; such as somebody seeing a pickpocket attempt in a crowded room of 100+ PCs, NPCs, vNPCs.

Re: RP Philosophy and You
Back onto the original subject a bit; Leech's rules to live by: 1. Be an asshole ICly. Try not to be an asshole OOCly. (I have difficulty with this one...) 2. Don't consider attacks against your character attacks against you. They aren't. To be pertinent, cloaking: when a noble constantly asks you t...

Re: Static Settings
Bump, because conceptualizing a theme as vast as this one is nice.

Re: Confessions
Bump, because I like my idea and want to test the waters again. Of course this system would be totally optional, not mandatory. It'd be like tossing out a character sheet to the Orderite RPers and being like 'Yo, wanna RP?'

Re: RP Philosophy and You
I fail to report it because most of the time it'd mean retconning entire arrests -- but holy SHIT have I been the victim of the hood/cloak thing, playing mostly antagonists myself. An interesting concept, and I wouldn't want TI to copy this mechanic, but there are a few MUDs out there who have a des...

Re: Mages and You
You can always ask people. That's how I got away from ninety percent of death scenes; I simply asked, and I posited ideas in the framework of: "Wouldn't X be really cool for these characters, and further RP, while also giving you something to do with your otherwise meaningless tavern-rp existence?" ...

Re: Hemote, Rated R, etc
Seeing it by default was the suggestion, FYI. Not aware yet at the changes to whois; that'd probably be nifty. Probably not going to RP to the average acceptance level of the pbase though, as Temi suggested. Censoring by conformity sounds pretty shitty.

Re: Log of OOC Meeting 8/1/2015
Kinaed says to Takta, "Not one I'm keen to support, personally. I'm not saying it's not a legitimate preference, I'm just saying it's not something I approve of personally or care to design the game for personally. All game choices are one of preference, overall. Other RP games out there are just a...

Re: Hemote, Rated R, etc
Sounds like you've been privy to some horrible RP. Also, you're fixating on very specific things; but seriously, I could care less if it's added. Just a thought! Thanks for yours

Re: Hemote, Rated R, etc
I can exclude those people from my RP already; I don't need a flag to do that. What it would do is provide an OOC indication of people who are alright with those types of scenes, and who even welcome them. Scenes like torture, scenes where bad shit happens, scenes where characters may potentially qu...
