Re: [Poll] Should Orders be allowed to have mage alts?

It can, for example, lead to instances where people might go to an orderite/reeve to unknowingly report that orderite/reeve's alt. And while I trust that player to remove themselves from any investigation into their alt, it's still awkward and immersion-breaking. I have had to do this with characte...

Re: [Poll] Should Orders be allowed to have mage alts?

The reference to Reeves and Brotherhood is different to me. Mages do not have a guild, they are expected to blend into normal society. They don't have the built in GLs and support that guilds do. They have to ICly go *find* one another, they can't just join a guild and connect with everyone that way...

Re: [Poll] Should Orders be allowed to have mage alts?

I think there's a line. And, this is coming from a player that has an Order character and a mage. I purposely play an Order character that does not have anything to do with magery investigation/capture/interrogation/etc. So, I'm able to keep my mage and my order character completely separate, becaus...

Log of OOC Meeting - 12/14/2018

Kinaed says, "A reminder of the OOC Chat Pact: Regardless of what we discuss, we understand and truly believe that everyone on TI does the best they can, given what they know at the time, their skills and abilities, the resources available, and the situation at hand. We will be respectful of this an...

Re: Returning Players

I feel that this depends on the type of asset. If it's a shop management asset, that should go to someone else, even if it's an NPC shop. At least, after a certain amount of time. That's an opportunity for RP for someone else that's being taken up by someone who is inactive for... however long. Ther...

Re: Plot Fatigue Poll

How would people feel about turns and rounds for header plots? Basically like the combat code but slower and staff overseen. The end of each round would have the staff determine the results of the participants actions. New people can jump in at any time, but if you've acted in a round you'll have t...

Re: Large Scene Management

I do not agree with join spots being jmote/jsay automatically. This means that if someone comes up and talks to someone in the spot, and doesn't join, it will be required for someone to leave in order to interact with them. This will be even worse. Please, no.

Guys there's "look people" and "look objects" already. Try them.
I do wish 'look people' did exclude NPCs, though...

Re: OOC Support Thread - You're Awesome and Here's Why

I guess it's been long enough, so I can post here now. I have to credit Lans for being absolutely, amazingly awesome. The roleplay we had between our pair ended far too soon, but realize that I enjoyed every moment. The arguments (who nelly, the arguments were gut-wrenching and painful - the quiet o...

Re: [Poll] Trial Removal of OOC Channels - One Week Countdown

What about an 'events' channel? Used only for coordinating larger events. This would be super helpful. I had thought to use the ST system for this, but unfortunately all folks need to join an ST to see ST only echoes. And thus chatter goes to all participants. But yes a temporary events channel cou...
