Re: Fixing rumours, once and for all

You won't see them because they get reported and removed out of the system, I have a lot less luck and catch them as they turn into the idiotic hate mail they are. And to understand how bad the rumours are now, I really don't need to bring up specific example, but point out that with a lot more play...

Re: Fixing rumours, once and for all

I struggle to see how it would curb news spreading, especially as the only change is, and I quote myself: "the solution is simple: rumour promotes can no longer be representing your characters view.". You can still submit rumors that represent view of the crowd that seen a crime, or anything notewor...

Re: Fixing rumours, once and for all

The vast majority of those promotes you want to trace should not happen in the first place, as no one icly would openly say what they are saynig. Per help policy rumor: Unthematic rumors are rumors that just physically could never be said in a world like TI, not things that you disagree with or find...

Fixing rumours, once and for all

I am tired of the ooc hatemill that rumours are, there is no arguing that this awesome system devolved into this right now, and it does very little else with most people afraid to post a rumour because, well, it will turn into that. And the solution is simple: rumour promotes can no longer be repres...

Re: Purchase silver, assets and trade skills

Before assets, the sub-par weapons were used as training one, a stepping stone between using wooden and proper ones. As I've said many times the only judgment on a better economy shouldn't be weapon sales/use. There are a lot more skills/roles/crafts to consider. Have assets and the new post silver...

Re: Purchase silver, assets and trade skills

Puciek raises a good point about crafting that I for some reason haven't personally considered. We're a bit too focused on the cost of training professions when part of mitigating that cost should come via trying to get some of the craft masters to teach master/apprentice style. That's sort of the ...

Re: Stealing adjustment ideas

Not enough hooded and masked leads to follow was never a problem Reeves had. So no, this won't drive rp for the Reeves.

Re: Stealing adjustment ideas

I can't express enough the notion to join the brotherhood on your thief character. It will open your eyes, although now that may be a bit slow given current internal issues in there. Although it's worth noting that even GM steal fails (albeit very rarely when done right), because you are directly de...

Re: Stealing adjustment ideas

The success chances are not low even at 36, just have to stick to small items/coins. But at the same time, they will have a lot more risk than non-brotherhood thieves and that is fine, as we want people to join the brotherhood, just like we want mage hunters to join knights and lawmakers to join the...
