Re: Inactive in RP

Honestly I think the issue here is that there are some people who fall out of RP or take 20 minutes to reply and totally bog up a scene, and that we shouldn't punish people for going fast OR slow. People already naturally reward players who keep up with scenes--I've gotten recommends form players fo...

Re: Jobs System Feedback

I had a brief suggestion of: Making jobs 'repeatable' or open-ended. I want to have a continuous 'I am selling this' post and it would be nice to have the ability for it to simply stay on the board until it expires, regardless of if someone purchases it. Barring that, if that's too codedly difficult...

Re: [Poll] Header Plot and Issues - Take 2

I voted 'yes' on the plot system adding more value to the game, simply because I feel like as a system itself, it adds a lot to the game--a way to do what would be realistic but impossible to codedly do. Without being able to perform investigations for various information that you might not be able ...

Re: Civetta's post in 06/13/2020 / Header Plot Experiences And Issues

Hi guys, I think that everyone is piling a lot on staff about this issue. There are a lot of negative feelings about the plot. There are a lot of hurt feelings. There's chafing on both side. There's a lot of complaints IN the initial post and it's all a big tangle. But! Please keep in mind that Staf...

Re: [Poll] Invitation Command - Feedback

Piping up a bit belatedly, I don't like it on the grounds that I find it really immersion breaking. If you could send an emote alongside it, perhaps, like a messenger that states who sent it and where you're going, to make it more in character, I would like it more. But as it stands it's incredibly ...

Re: [Poll] Local or inter-ducal RP focus?

I have a lot of issues with this proposal. The short answer is that I think making the grid larger would be a LOT of work, for what would, in my opinion, negatively impact the game, break immersion, de-centralize RP, and poorly fill the place of a system we already have in place (via the travel room...

Re: Turf Wars Spec - 1st Draft

Giving this a solid readover, it seems like a neat system. It seems especially useful for mages and thieves to be able to have an 'income source' from vNPCs, and add a sort of bonus for it. From the way this is built up, it looks like the turf is not going to be a single room, but rather a general a...

Re: Plot Fatigue Poll

I do understand that this was started by player action, but staff had lots of forewarning that this would have been a possibility when a player submitted a request to possibly kill the Queen, and maybe it should not have been accepted and approved if staff knew they were going to have large time con...

Re: Plot Fatigue Poll

I answered background, but I feel the need to clarify that, for me at least, I don't want this to just have a pushed through solution, but I feel like since most of this plot's been forefronted by plots and rolls and mustering up armies, that that be the focus--at this point ICly, the progress of th...

Re: Large Scene Management

I personally don't find Join spots hard to make or use at all. It's literally the easiest thing in the world, and you can, in fact, do it in three steps: 'join create large table against the wall' 'seats 10' 'done' That would create a large table in three quick steps, however join doesn't **show** t...
