Re: [Poll] Opinions on Alt Disclosure

I’m probably the worst offender at this lol. :/ didn’t really it was a thing to be concerned about. How about just a “soft” policy to kee alt disclosure to a minimum? Like for example, I posted that I was going away to Mexico and listed my alts. Maybe instead I could have just posted that Ardan’s pl...

To be clear, I'm not saying the current system is worse than the old one. I'm just wondering if it can be tweaked to be better.

Re: GLing can be a thankless job. Are gambits making it doubly so?

Part of the problem I think is that support and gambits are calculated differently. So that blip in support can mean you're vulnerable to a gambit with a high chance of succeeding as it takes more to subvert someone to despised than it does to actually win the gambit.

I think the thing about sustained support is worth considering. I don't like that a blip in activity in one player can dip a GL into gambit territory. Could we required the despised/disliked/hated status to be sustained for a couple of days at least?

It’s not just the gambit that just ended. There have been a lot of gambits. It used to take 3 weeks to remove a GL for inactivity. Now an active GL can be gambited out in a week.

It's not that opaque when your guild is small.

If a GL is doing their job and pleasing their guildies, they don't have anything to fear from gambits.
This is simply not true. There are GLs with 100% approval from members that have been gambitted.

GLing can be a thankless job. Are gambits making it doubly so?

Hey all - this isn't a gripe on my personal part - I fully expect to be gambited out at some point and knew that going in - but I think the ease of gambiting people out is becoming a problem for the game. Not to touch on any specifics too much, but when a single one of your members going inactive ta...

Re: Physicians oppose Infrastructure?

That being said, so long as these aren't considered cast in stone for IC motives, I don't have a huge problem with it. Maybe the most guild income isn't in Merchants' interests all the time. I don't mind there being trade-offs.
