Re: Civetta's post in 06/13/2020 / Header Plot Experiences And Issues

Why bang your heads against this brick wall. Nothing will change as staff have made it clear here and elsewhere that they simply won't change, and don't see a need for change. Do you need a better example than Kinaed's dismissiveness here? I'm sure whatever prewritten climax they have for the plot w...

Re: Opening up Plots to More Players

The problem with plots are the staff that run them.

Wear piercings, they cover naked parts of the body. As a certain vavardi troubadour (who shan't be named) discovered not long ago.
That seems like a bug

Re: INDECENT!

Precisely. If anything, Lithmorran standards should be adopted, not conditional standards based on a player race. Loose shirts might be acceptable in hotter climates like Farin or Tubor, but if they come here, they should be expected to conform. I think the idea is not to change what is or isn't th...

You're in Lithmore, son.

Re: INDECENT!

I think what one finds offensive has more to do with the looker and less the lookee. I don't think the game should step in to define things as offensively indecent moreso than it does already.

Re: [Poll] Local or inter-ducal RP focus?

It's really not possible for our current staff to run plots to simulate the wider world, but we have significant, ongoing "raising a concern" that GLs have kingdom-wide roles without kingdom-wide RP availability. More staff then? I suppose if you look at it from the new game perspective, it's a que...

Re: Farin Racial Perspectives

Farin on Tubori:
The song says, "Tubori have the sweetest wine" but is missing the lines, "Their paradise, the Lord denies / All because of that evil vine."

Farin on Lithmorrans:
They, of all people, should know better.

Re: [Poll] Local or inter-ducal RP focus?

Firstly, I have never played a noble, or Seneschal here, so I've not got any experience with the responsibilities at the core of this survey, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I did, however, play for many years on TI:L's erstwhile sister mud, The Burning Post 2. The setting of that Mud was a...
