Re: Mark of Thandok

I like the idea though I'm not sold on the specifics. Here are my thoughts, stripped of as much babble as possible: 1.) Permament damage (scars etc) are best RPed out, and I think you already have the tools in place to use magical things to cause the damage? Rising flames and twisty vines and such? ...

Subforum for Weekly Meetings

Crossing over from the discussion about guildskills, I wanted to suggest a new subforum for the weekly meetings. Here, a log of the meeting could be posted so those who can't make the time don't have to miss out. I would further suggest that implementation of ideas that come up during the meeting co...

Re: Revisiting Learn Masters Slots - Any Interest?

Just in regards to the OOC meetings : . . . I'm not a fan of posting a forum topic for discussion, I think only a select few of us use the forums and a general note will get to everyone. I like the idea of a short delay between meetings and implementation, so those who can't make the meeting for wh...

Re: Revisiting Learn Masters Slots - Any Interest?

I remember that my original suggestion was to make disguise code free or cheap for Troubadours but not to bar it entirely from others - to possibly just make it more expensive so that it could be a PERK for Troubs but not denied to others who might have reasonable uses for the skill. I prefer there ...

Re: Friday Night Fights. Sorta

Depending on interest and availability, it might be worthwhile to set up individual matches when it's most convenient for those who will be fighting. In this way, you'd still have a regular event players could look forward to but one that wouldn't necessarily prohibit some percentage from ever atten...

Re: Character Concepts Currently Needed In-Game

+ Characters who actively support factions, individuals or ideals. + Characters who actively challenge factions, individuals or ideals. Whatever concept you decide to play, consider cultivating at least 1 friend and enemy. Who or what matters less than a willingness to create and accept a bit of con...

[Complete] Help Player Info

Would it be possible to make help player files accessible whether or not you've met the character and remembered them? The help file notes that the information help player files include is supposed to represent information that people can find out about your character by asking around. As we tend to...

Re: TI: Soundtrack

That's why I enjoy instrumentals, they can fade into the background where they're not distracting me. I can't read and hold a conversation at the same time (as my family will attest - they talk to me when I'm reading and I respond 10 minutes later with "What?").

Re: TI: Soundtrack

I love it!

Mumford & Sons' cover of "Not in Nottingham" is my go-to for Reeve RP.

Thanks for sharing. <3

And... you can leave your hat on.

Re: Revisiting Learn Masters Slots - Any Interest?

There wasn't an "abstain" button but I wanted to acknowledge the poll and explain my stance, so I chose the three-skill option. I hate to admit it, but it's probably best to have some sort of limitation on skills if for no other reason than there are people like me: well-meaning and unable to keep f...
